You are cordially invited to participate in a contest!

This will be a contest of the remix variety, sponsored by Yours Truly, manmademadman. The contest will be for the best remix of the mm:mm song DEAF, as chosen by our panel of expert judges. One winner shall be chosen based on the criteria below. The winner shall receive a Moog Minitaur (valued at $599+shipping), as seen in this video:

Who: You, dummy.

What: You may download the stems for the song here: DOWNLOAD ALL STEMS    (OR JUST THE VOX, MA'AM)

When: all entries must be submitted no later than midnight, May 1st, 2012. The winner will be contacted by May 5th. All judgments are final.

How: You may remix the song, and post it online in any format you choose. Recommended sites for hosting this are SoundCloud or YouTube. This will allow you to show your remix off to your friends/families/enemies/mild acquaintances and can reasonably show statistics. You may host it via Facebook, bandcamp or any site which allows data collection; even your own.

Rules of Engagement: You may do as many remixes as you want, but remember, the best one wins, so focus your time and energy on a single great one.

This remix is for promotional purposes only, not for revenue. Remember that by entering this contest, you are also promoting yourself and your abilities. For that reason, mm:mm shall not request sole nor exclusivity ownership of the winning remix. It is still your property, under creative commons boundaries. But mm:mm shall post it and allow streaming and/or download of the song from the website, free of charge with a link back to you and/or your site. 

A few of the best entries will be shown on the DEAF page, along with the winner.
